Cleveland Winwater Expands Winsupply’s Ohio Presence

The Winsupply Family of Companies has welcomed a new Local Company with the opening of Cleveland Winwater.

President Jason Petkac and the Cleveland Winwater employees–Reggie Reed, Michael LaFollette, Jeffrey J. Petkac, and Nick Neill–officially opened their doors on February 1, 2026.

Cleveland Winwater serves the Waterworks industry while also crossing into the Mechanical and Plumbing industries. The Local Company has also developed a partnership with Plumbing company Winsupply of Cleveland to provide customers with the best support possible.

With a 4,500-square-foot property just outside downtown Cleveland, Cleveland Winwater is located at 5502 E. Schaaf Road in Independence. The location has sufficient space to stock waterworks products, and over two acres of land for truck and trailer access.

Jason Petkac is no stranger to the Winsupply business model. His father, Jeffrey R. Petkac, was an employee of Winsupply Cleveland for 30 years. Jason Petkac spent summers and weekends working as a driver and warehouse employee while attending Kent State University.

After graduating, Jason Petkac pursued jobs as a treatment specialist and a job placement specialist. However, after seeing a posting for Warehouse Manager at Winsupply of Cleveland, he decided to return to the industry.

“After five years, Winwater of Akron was looking for an Operations Manager, and I made the move. My role was counter sales, driving, and anything else that needed to be done in Akron,” Jason Petkac said. “A main focus of mine was to ensure the Cleveland-area customers were satisfied with our service.”

As customer demand grew, so did the need for a waterworks company in the Cleveland market.

With Cleveland Winwater now open, Jason Petkac is still looking for ways to better serve customers. One solution has been an after-hours emergency water break trailer that customers can access for repair equipment such as clamps and couplings.

“Creating solutions like this for our customers is part of the Winsupply difference,” Jason Petkac said.

Cleveland Winwater held a three-day grand opening around Memorial Day that included vendor-led continuing education training for municipalities and contractors.

“We wanted the chance to bring the customers we serve to our place to celebrate,” Jason Petkac said. “It was just as important to share that time with our vendor partners who came out.”

Winsupply Area Leader Andy Wademan said Jason’s company has marked success since day one.

“I am very excited to watch Jason and his company grow in the Cleveland and Ohio markets,” Wademan said.

Jason Petkac and his company also supported a customer's local charity golf tournament to help the Glioblastoma Foundation in its mission to transform care for those with brain tumors.

Winsupply Local Companies are poised to exceed over $8.4 billion in annual sales for 2026.

“We have significant opportunities in Ohio across all industries including the Winwater industry in the near future,” Wademan said. “Our main obstacle right now is finding and growing entrepreneurs.”
